What is Supervision?
Supervision is where staff members meet up regularly to discuss different problems or areas they want to improve. In these Learning Communities, staff members will coach and mentor each other to overcome any barriers or obstacles to success, which will ultimately lead to school improvement.
This Supervision Workshop is designed to give you everything you need to start supporting staff through Supervision in your school.
- We start with a bespoke Development Meeting with the staff members who are leading the project. This is your opportunity to create a programme that suits your needs, where you decide whether you want small groups or one-to-one session; how frequent you want staff to meet and outline the practicalities of how you want the Supervision sessions to run.
- This is followed by, a workshop to introduce and enable the Senior Leadership Team to run the Supervision sessions and be capable coaches.
- Then, we deliver a workshop to the Teaching Staff to share your vision for Supervision in your school and give them a tool kit of skills they will need to get the most out of Supervision.
